The light, as it was written below, is the biggest problem here, it is too contrasty. Diffuse light would be better. Another thing is the background, it is also disturbing and very light, so that the flower is fading there and not attracting the attention. Black background would fit this scene ... you can achieve it either by Photoshop, or by some black textile. On the other hand, the sharpness is excellent, the depth of field very good. The centered composition is suitable too.

I agree with Ilja. It would proably be better to place less pictures in the photo and see them in more detail, make more dramatic atmosphere with another kind of light (candles etc.), and I am not sure about the credenza ... it is IMHO not necessary for the picture.
