Once upon an inexorable time
Far, far before the polar line
Lived two fairy friends of mine
Siblings Hansel and Gretel Wine

Kind, poor woodcutter was their father
And future perdition accrued from mother
Gretel and her younger brother
Had ever no one other

They had to work hard, like daddy
Only and just to get their own teddy
From work their limbs were muddy
And occasionally even bloody

She groundlessly got very angry

The moon was shining, all wolfs were howling

To gather fruitage in cruel wilderness
She did not think of her silly deeds

Far from daddy they love most
Hunted by some bloody scary ghost

Because his foot got stuck in a crack

On horizon just a small dot
They ran there like bigot

They were thinking “now we must be dead”
